While much more levelheaded than his roommate, Reese feels like a bystander in his own life, and isn't quite sure who he's really supposed to be. He often leaves things on the proverbial back-burner in pursuit of approval and short-term highs. |

Barnaby grew up by the shores in New Jersey, and moved down to Aubrey after university. Having grown up in a bubble of sorts, he's rather naive in regard to the outside world and isn't accustomed to living on his own, hence why he comes across unintentionally crass. |
